When LOve means Everything

I just finished watching Windstruck. I think by far its the best Korean movie i had seen. I cried buckets.. I wish filipinos would produce a movie of this kind.

Kyungjin and Myungwoo's lovestory is beautiful. Yes, sad but beautiful..

Watching the movie made me appreciate more the people around me. The people I love and who loves me back. I dont want to go through what Kyungjin had experienced. (Though losing someone is one of the inevitable things in life.)

Kyungjin indeed proved that the most dangerous person in the world are those who have nothing to lose. She wanted to end her life when Myungwoo died. But Myungwoo wouldn't let her. He always saved her, no matter how crazy and desperate she was to die.

At the 49th day of his death ( the last day for the soul to be on earth), Myungwoo visited Kyungjin as the wind. He told Kyungjin to stop being sad for his death and start her life anew.

He told her further, that he really never left him. That whenever she wud miss him, she just needs to feel and listen to the wind. For it is HIM..

At the last show of pure love,Myungwoo made Kyungjin meet a man with a spirit just like his..
and that's the guy you saw in My Sassy Girl. Since Windstruck is its prequel.

I love the movie on its entirety. The 1st part was funny...the middle was sad, and the last was hopeful.

The kind of love Kyungjin had received from Myungwoo would be the kind of love all of us would die for. Theirs was a love that knows no boundary. A love even after death...

Its a must-watch movie. I was crazy for taking this long (not listening to my friends)to watch this..
This s an A1 movie for all of u who dig good lovestories and Korean movies/telenovelas.

But I guess this is best shared w/ hubbies, BF's and BFF's...:) Watch it. Take it from me, you'll love it as i do...

3 IDIOTS

I so love 3 Idiots..

whenever I'm in the MIS Office, that's one of what's constant.

we're so hooked with it that I, along with the MIS guys had started calling ourselves Idiots.. :))

What really IS IN THAT MOVIE?..

well, first, there's the STORY...it has drama, comedy, action, suspense, love angle and all the right ingredients of a great movie. (which it is!!..according to Wikipedia it's the highest- grossing Bollywood film of all time!)

Second, there's the cast-  Aamir Khan in the lead made the movie a sure-winner. (after doing Ghajini, I think no one would dare question his versatility as an actor.- I mean, he does suspense, comedy, drama well..that plus the fact that he sure can sing and dance!!!

third, there's the Music and the Sing/Dance scene...- the movie has great muxic..after watching it, i started to appreciate the Hindi language and their songs..(I was kinda even hook with Give Me Some Sunshine, All Izz Well and  Zoobie Doobie)

The PLOT

Its story revolves around 3 men named Farhan Qureshi , Raju Rastogi , and Rancchoddas Shamaldas Chanchad "Rancho" who find their lives intertwined as engineering students who share a room in a hostel at the Imperial College of Engineering (ICE). They are at school for different reasons; Farhan, to pursue his father's wish for him to become an Engineer; Raju, to alleviate his family from poverty and Rancho, for the joy of learning. 

They shared the kind of friendship that everybody dreams- pure, solid and sincere. They found their nemesis in the

person of Professor Viru "Virus" Shahastrabuddhe- the Dean of College and Chatur "Silencer" Ramalingam- Virus' fave student who believes in mindless memorizing over understanding. It was Virus who labelled the 3 friends as Idiots and had made it as his mission to break up the friendship on every occasion he finds... 

Their movie is framed as flashbacks from the present day, ten years after Chatur promised to become more successful than Rancho. Having lost contact with Rancho, who disappeared during the graduation party and went into seclusion, Raju and Farhan begin a journey to find him. They are joined by Chatur, now a wealthy and successful businessman, who joins them, brazenly confident that he has surpassed Rancho and also looking to seal a deal with a famous scientist and prospective business associate named Phunsukh Wangdu. When they find Rancho's house, they find a completely different Rancho. From him they come to know that their friend was a destitute servant boy "Chhote" who loved learning, while he, the real Rancho, disliked study. The family agreed to let the servant boy study in Rancho's place instead of labouring. In return, the real Rancho would pocket the qualifications and after graduating, the servant boy will cease all contact. The real Rancho reveals that Chhote is now a school-teacher.

The story ends with the 3 friends reunited, finding Rancho as the successful 

Phunsukh Wangdu.When Chatur finds out about this and is horrified; he accepts his defeat and pleads his case with Phunsukh to establish the business relationship he was after.
