EVERMORE Lyrics ( Gao and Liu's AGT Audition Music)

>> 26 May 2015

Walk through my memory
see all that we have done
in my dreams
in my dreams

Touch is reality
Feel you're so close
I believe
I believe

The moment
has finally arrived
I knew right away
I could finally say

You can always have hope that
I will be waiting through miles
and loving through days
Yet to come and to go evermore

chorus:

You can take every
word that hasn't been spoken
As proof that we'll never be broken
We've made it somehow to evermore

Trust is the remedy
something you can see
for miles and
for miles

As much as you give to me
I will return to you
All the while
All the while

The moment
we two did collide
I knew right away
that I'd someday say

Repeat Refrain & Chorus

So if it's alright with you
I will be along together
Through everything
We will be strong
WE build our own lifetime
and never know any regrets

Let time still weigh
every moment
Right upto the last
Evermore
Evermore

You can always have hope
that I will be waiting through miles
Loving through days yet to come
Evermore

Repeat Refrain and Chorus

Cagbolo Barrio Fiesta 2015

Celebrated my first ever Barrio Fiesta at Marvin and I's Munting Kubo..

There are a lot of things to be grateful, and I'm happy that the people who loves and supports us  100% were there to celebrate life, friendship and a festive buffet with me and my family.

My parents were there...
Nanay Menyang

Tatay Edroy

my father-in-law

and my husbands' grandparents
and his brother's extended family were present too...
Kelvin & his son Kean.. ,

My sister-in-law's family
Even my friends and former co-teachers from ACC came..
Sir Rakz aka Tyo Imban

ACC Family

My special "visitors" were my Kappans siblings who stayed overnight to help me set-up the kubo and prepare the foods. They came not as visitors but as family who even took the role of buffet servers just to make sure that I don't stress out on details before, during and even after the fiesta...
gkp siblings helping Tiyo Billy, the cook,

Extra grateful to xi Anne for being patient with me..

Bor Rico did the table skirting

My Kappans Family

They had assisted Nanay bigtime! Superrr Thank you!!

sorority power!!
On my part, I made sure they would have a fun day and would never regret coming to our Barrio to help and visit me. Luckily, they are not a difficult bunch to handle., so with a little booze and lots of karaoke music, my kubo was filled with laughters and karaoke-kalokohan courtesy of my snappak family. :D

Given a chance, I would love to host another Barrio Fiesta a year from today. God willing...
For God's Glory..

Basking in A Perfectly Imperfect Life

>> 24 March 2015

Last February 3, 2015, I was admitted to Leyte Provincial Hospital after a month of irregular bleeding. After two years or so, I finally decided to follow my Ob-gyne's advice to go through Dilation & Curretage.

For a week, I thought everything is well already, until the lab results were out and I got diagnosed with the life-threatening illness. I have Endometrial Cancer (Endometrioid Adenocarcinoma)

Darn! Yes, on that moment I thought the world is conspiring against me... I never felt so helpless and down,

For two weeks my husband and I decided to keep it from both our parents. We wallowed and cried in bed...  night after night. During those times, I wished for a quick and easy death.

What changed my attitude?

Well, the news of somebody I barely knew dying in a motor vehicle accident.

The shocked it caused to her family and friends; the suddenness of her death- brought me back to my senses. I remembered my parents - those two gray-haired, gentlest of souls individual who gave me the best of everything they can possibly provide. And my husband- the one man who stood by me and held my hand through this raging storm...

Then I remembered, someone once told me, "When you're tired of standing up, you can always kneel."

And from that day on, kneeling made me regain strength. The Lord works in mysterious ways. I may still have not-so-good days, but now I know how to look forward to a better tomorrow.

These days, I use most of my times being around the people who loves me the most. I learned to appreciate mornings and the hope they promise. I learned to stop and take in everything I feel, I see, I hear...

Life is short but it is beautiful.

My Greatest Provider, teaches me a lesson on life everyday. And I had never been a more patient and obedient student.
From friends, to classmates to people I haven't meet in person yet- Jesus taught me the value of Charity and True Fellowship..He sent to my way people who He made Instruments for the gradual healing of my Soul and body. I had never felt so blessed!

I am on a new journey... and just as how I start my day, I pray that my Lord, Jesus Christ, continue to use me for Thy Glory.

May He Bless you today and everyday, as He continuously Bless me with His Graces and Mercy.

Dogs Live Here

Dogs Live Here

My dog and I live in this house. You are welcome to come and visit me anytime but we have a few things that you must understand before you visit:
You must expect a few dog hairs to stick to your clothes. I vacuum and clean on a regular basis, but a Dog lives in this house too.
You may be licked and given a paw a few times but he does this because he loves people and wants to say "Hello", so if you feel that you are too good for his love then you may not feel welcome here because this is his home too.
My dog is well mannered and very clean but if you are one of those people who think ALL animals are dirty and smelly then you and I will probably have difficulty feeling comfortable during your visit.
If you don't like the sound of barking, then my home is not likely to be a pleasant place for you. My dog protects me by letting me know I have a visitor. Whether it be a friend or uninvited stranger. If you are a friend, my dog will consider you his friend too but if you are an unwelcome guest, my dog will protect me with his life as I would his.
Do not expect me to lock my dog in another room during your visit. I have trained my dog well so he will not do anything to you except maybe want a pat on the head. I will not subject him to feel as if he is being punished by locking him away for no reason. That would just be cruel.
When you walk in my home, be careful not to trip on a squeaky toy or a bone. These are my dog's little treasures and I will not take them away from him just to show you that I keep a clean house. He knows where all his toys are. They may not look like much to you, but to him, they are worth more than gold.
You see, This is OUR home. We have been together for a long time. I raised him into a well mannered, beautifully behaved dog. I am proud of him.
I consider him my personal gift from God. He has done nothing but give me his endless love and devotion for many years. I love him dearly and want to make his years happy ones. As happy as he makes mine.
When you go home to your family, he stays here with me. A fine and loving companion. He is MY family and I wouldn't change that for the world.
When I was sick, he stayed right by my side as I did his when he was not having a good day. A better friend I could not ask for. When no one else cared, my Dog did. He has given me nothing but pure joy and I love him endlessly.
So please understand that I am not being rude. I'm just looking out for my best friend.

LANDSLIDE

>> 10 December 2014

I took my love, I took it down
Climbed a mountain and I turned around
And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
'Til the landslide brought it down
Oh, mirror in the sky
What is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changin' ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?

Well, I've been afraid of changin'
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Even children get older
And I'm getting older too
And I'm getting older too
Oh, take my love, take it down
Climb a mountain and turn around

And if you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide will bring it down
And if you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide will bring it down
The landslide will bring it down
